He’s right! I don’t need to get something for her! I can do something!

I hang up, and go to the nearest store to buy mi amor some roses.
“I think I’ll just show up at her school with flower’s as a surprise!”

“It’s 5 minutes before her class ends! I can’t wait!”
I slide out of my car and walk up to the school,
“Hmm…let’s see, her last class is Spanish…”

I go through the front doors to the front desk,

The lady at the desk looks up to me from her glasses and her face turns red, must be sick?

“What room is your Spanish class in?”
“Oh, it’s all the way down that hall at the very end, and it will be on your left.”
She points to my side.
“Gracias señorita~” I smile and wave before walking down the hall

I check my watch, only 30 seconds left before the bell rings.
I peek through the window so she won’t notice me, she was sitting patiently almost fidgeting, why does she look so scared?
Before I could look better the bell rings and I quickly step away from the door now crowded with students bumping into each other to get out of the class.
I see [Name] walk out but before I even got a chance to call her name she‘s out of the halls in a blink of an eye!
Why is the chica so rushed!
The hallways start deserting so I decide to follow back where [Name] went to.
Walking through the halls and turn the corner and see her at her locker looking timid…
I quickly hide and peek from that corner to watch her, something is not right.
She slowly opens her locker, and sighs in relief once fully opened.
Was she expecting something to happen? Maybe be plummeted by valentines cards? Is she that popular?
Now’s good as ever I start stand up to walk over there when a bunch of boys from the other end run over and throw water balloons at poor [Name].
I watch in horror as she then slips onto the ground soaking wet, the boys run off leaving her there.

I felt rage boil into me, something I haven’t felt since that British kid ticked me off.
My anger calms as I see some girls come up to her.

I watch her curl up into a ball on the floor and stare at the floor in pity.
“Since you don’t have a Valentine~ It seems like you won’t be going to the dance tonight~ did you know that everyone in the school has one? Even that scary kid Ivan? This proves how worthless of a person you are. Why don’t you just go die in a hole low life~”
The group of girls laugh and walk away to leave poor [Name] on the ground.
She grabs her things quickly and runs out of the building not even caring about her clothes.
I slump to the ground, roses I was supposed to give her in hand.
